ALITO HYBRID SURFACES

Loading & Unloading

During loading and unloading, hybrid surfaces should always be handled using appropriate tools and protective measures. Ensure the surfaces are kept flat and securely stacked to prevent damage and avoid exposure to moisture.

How to Loading

1. Always use forklifts or lifting equipment to safely handle the weight and size of hybrid surfaces. Ensure operators are trained and follow safety protocols.

2. Ensure surfaces are flat while loading to prevent warping or cracks during transit. Use level platforms and avoid uneven stacking.

3. Use protective packaging materials like foam sheets or edge guards to minimize the risk of scratches and impacts.

4. Avoid stacking more than 5 surfaces at a time to reduce pressure on the bottom surfaces and maintain stability. Use non-slip separators between layers if stacking is necessary.

5. Inspect all surfaces for any damage before and after loading to address issues immediately.

6. Secure the load with straps or bindings to prevent shifting during transportation.

How to Unloading

1. Always unload surfaces one at a time using forklifts, lifting equipment, or manual handling by trained personnel to avoid accidental damage.

2. Place the surfaces on a stable and flat surface immediately after unloading to maintain their structural integrity.

3. Store surfaces in an upright position using stands or frames designed to hold them securely.

4. Protect surfaces from direct sunlight and moisture during unloading and storage to prevent discoloration or warping.

5. Inspect each surface for any damage upon arrival to ensure they are in optimal condition for installation.

6. Use padding or cushioning while placing surfaces on hard ground to avoid scratches or chipping.

Instructions

Applying Adhesive

Use a suitable adhesive compatible with hybrid surfaces. Spread evenly using a notched trowel. Avoid over-application to prevent seepage.

2. Maintenance Instructions

Do’s
Don’ts
Use a soft cloth or mop for regular cleaning.
Avoid using abrasive cleaners or steel wool
Clean spills immediately with mild soap and water.
Do not expose surfaces to standing water for prolonged periods.
Use protective pads under furniture to prevent scratches.
Avoid dragging heavy objects directly over the surface.
Maintain a controlled indoor environment (normal humidity and temperature).
Don’t use harsh chemicals like bleach or acid-based cleaners.
